CHARLEY KOTEKA

A Little About Me & Our Mission

For those I haven’t had the pleasure of connecting with yet, my journey is built on over a decade of experience in mental health, program facilitation, and cultural tutoring. While my background equips me to handle the practical side of this work, my heart belongs entirely to community development and cultural preservation.

Ngaa Maania Onewhero was born out of a desire to provide a genuine, safe space where our traditional practices, reo, and tikanga don't just exist, but thrive. We aren't here to commercialize the culture; we are here to live it. Whether you are joining our youth groups, participating in our programs, or partnering with us, you are becoming part of a community dedicated to keeping our heritage a living, breathing part of daily life.
