These taonga were given to acknowledge the tutoring, love, guidance, and time we pour into our group, and we truly feel so humbled and appreciated. The detail, care, and beautiful mahi that went into creating them is absolutely stunning.

One of the boards included Ngāpuhi, which is my partner Xavan’s iwi, and he was absolutely stoked seeing that personal touch included 🤍 The other featured “Kaiako,” recognising the tutoring and teaching we give to our roopu, which made it even more meaningful to us.
